Paulo Alves registers his license as a realtor. It is the beginning of a journey of great challenges, but much success.

The first office

Paulo establishes the first official office of De Paula Realty. In a room of just 200 sqft in Orlando, this is where we began to see the company gain ground in a highly competitive market.

The growth

Brazil's good economic phase and the US housing crisis help propel the company by massively selling below-market real estate prices to Brazilians eager to protect their dollar-denominated capital. In the same year, De Paula Property Management was created to handle the management of investors' real estate rentals, both for short term and long term rentals.

Inauguration of the new headquarters

De Paula opens its new headquarters in a space 10 times larger than its original small office. The new facilities now house all the group's operations and support its brokers.

In a strategic move to grow the company, Paulo Alves expands business to the state of Texas, where De Paula has an increasingly strong presence.
